Mostrim bowed out of the 2005 Senior Championship after being defeated by Colmcille 2-8 to 1-5. Not one of Mostrim's better displays they could only manage three scores in each half. Though missing some key players it was hoped that the shock defeat by Ballymore would serve as motivation but Colmcille made the most of their chances to come out deserved winners. Mostrim now face a playoff to see if they play Senior Championship next year.
